Warning: I’m going into grumpy old man mode!
When I was a kid, I made a few short movies, mostly animated. They were … well, they were terrible. But I made them using an on-the-shoulder VHS camera, a cassette tape recorder for sound, and two VCRs for editing. I used Legos, GI Joe figures, even tooth picks and play dough. It was pains-taking, frustrating, and tedious, but it was all I knew.
If there had been GoPro mini cameras, digital SLRs shooting full HD video, and movie editing software back then, I would have made something EXACTLY like this:
Then again, I do have all this stuff now, and the best I can do is post videos of me griping about jury duty. Man, I’m old.
